"Delaware Crossing", the latest offering from WOLFE is a rocking treat full of jams and guitar tidbits of genius. This effort puts a sonic revival on classics like "Stranger Blues" and their rendition of "See What Love Can Do" is evocative of Fleetwood Mac at their absolute best. "One Lost Love" is a well-crafted and stylish original that is steeped in beauty and sadness, while the Pumpkinesque "Gates of Heaven" and the very real, very live "Wolfe Jam" round out the blend of classic and modern sensibilities. 'Love Gone Bad' an original heavy blues ballad in the tradition of Led Zeppelin was covered by Larry McCray last year. John Popper [Blues Traveler] lent a hand and a harp once again on 'Stranger Blues' and 'Tumblin' Down.' So far the critics seem to love Delaware Crossing!
Following the Valley Entertainment American release of "Delaware Crossing",
the latest offering from Todd Wolfe's band, WOLFE, the band has been touring
non stop and will be opening dates this summer for former Allman Brother,
Dickey Betts.
Todd most recently completed a tour with the legendary guitarist of "Mountain"
fame, Leslie West. Their duet shows in the UK and Spain were received
with critical acclaim!
Todd has been a guitar devil for the likes of Sheryl Crow & Carla Olson and
traded licks with Eric Clapton, Leslie West, The Allmans and many others.
This new record is a rocking treat full of jams and guitar tidbits of genius.
